Zalman Friedman

Product manager. 11+ years in B2B SaaS — platforms, integrations, payments, and AI-native product development.

I came into product through design and teaching, and kept getting handed the harder problem until "product" was the only title that fit. I spent a decade owning a nonprofit fundraising platform end to end — growing it 10x to acquisition, then scaling it to $200M processed annually — with deep hands-on work in CRM integrations, payments, identity, and regulated messaging. Most recently I drove an agentic AI platform in legal tech: a custom MCP server, an eval framework, and clear judgment about where agents are reliable and where humans must stay in the loop.

I'm targeting Senior / Principal / Director PM roles, remote or Las Vegas.

The largest enterprise deal in company history

I owned the bidirectional Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud sync end to end — personally authoring the data-model mapping, negotiating schema gaps with Salesforce, and making scope calls against thin docs. It unlocked a client with ~$50M in annual fundraising volume.

An expert workflow: 45 minutes → 5

At an AI legal-tech company I drove an agentic platform that autonomously extracts case data, drafts, and files with courts — plus the custom MCP server and eval framework that made it safe and measurable.

A 3-month estimate ran 4x over — and paid off

My biggest payments bet blew through its estimate. Instead of sunk-cost marching or killing it, I re-earned the go decision monthly with leadership and contained the work to 1–2 engineers so nothing else stalled.

100% adoption on a product I designed myself

A template-based site builder that let non-technical nonprofits build on-brand, data-correct fundraising sites — every customer migrated onto it, and engineering stopped hand-building sites.

72 hours to ship, a year to pivot

When COVID canceled every customer event at once, I shipped a registration-to-donations conversion in ~72 hours, then drove a year-long pivot to virtual fundraising. Customers recouped ~75% of projected lost revenue.

The A/B test that changed the business model

Would donors tip the platform on top of a charitable gift? Instead of debating, we tested. Tipping out-earned the incumbent "cover the fees" model, shipped platform-wide, and the losing variant was deleted.
